NEC XN 120 VOICEMAIL WITH VOICE ANNOUNCE FEATURES
With the XN120 NEC have again moved forward the boundaries of phone system design.
The voicemail provides a range of state of the art features, unique to the XN120 & the Aspire, to support both internal and external callers:
The Voicemail is actually on a chip on the processor and has 8 voicemail/announcement ports.
Key features :
- Personal & Group Voicemail boxes
- Call queuing / Sequencer Features for busy Hunt Groups
- Overflow from Operator
- Operator Greetings
- DISA Announcements for Auto Attendant (remotely control your phone to forward externally or turn on voicemail)
- System Prompts and Announcements
- Night Service Announcements

The more information that is presented to an incoming caller going through to an absent extension the better the response.
Provide callers with information about the person they are trying to contact before the call is forwarded to another answering point. The message is record able by any extension user. This reduces caller frustration.
The XN120 is versatile enough to give you more than one option. You may forward calls to another extension and record a greeting to inform the incoming caller that all calls are now forwarded to a named colleague. Users can choose between several call forwarding conditions:
- call forward on busy
- call forward on no reply
- call forward on busy and on no reply
These options can be applied selectively - for all incoming calls, only external calls, only internal calls. The message is cancelled when the feature is deactivated.
When call forwarding is activated, the keystation gives a verbal reminder that the user’s calls are forwarded. The forwarding should be cancelled when the user returns. |
