THE NEC ASPIRE (IP Centric Convergence Key) SYSTEM

Aspire SystemNEC launched the Aspire system in Japan in August 2002, USA Jan 2003 and Europe and the UK in June 2003.

OVER 385,000 SYSTEMS INSTALLED!
OVER 10.0 MILLION USERS WORLDWIDE

The Aspire is one of the most technologically advanced IP systems on the market and most importantly incorporates all of the telephony features of NEC’s current market leading TDM product (DXE) as well as adding many new and unique features

The features are transparent whether delivered as digital TDM phones or IP phones, placing the system years ahead of anything on the market.

The system is expandable up to 500 extensions and has a RISC processor at it’s heart making it one of the most powerful and reliable system in the market today(Link to last page)

From an IP perspective the system has a full IP backplane as well as a combined TDM backplane and thus allows migration to VoIP (link to 3rd page) if users require it.

The Aspire digital telephones have the ability to have IP adapters added to make them full IP telephones, or pure IP telephones can be purchased from initial installation.

Importantly, the Aspire IP signally is true Peer-to-Peer .

The system has an in-built web server and all programming of the system is via a web browser call Web Pro.

The fact that Aspire can function in and support a “hybrid” network with traditional digital/analog switching, IP/TDM/IP switching and pure peer-to-peer IP switching means that users can continue to utilize their existing equipment while they begin to phase in IP Telephony and lay the foundation for current and future networks.
