ORDER PROCESSING & PROJECT SCHEDULING
Over to Southern Comms
Once you have placed your order with us, your Field Sales consultant writes a custom report on your requirements and passes this, together with the paperwork, quotes and all relevant information to our administration team. The field sales person will continue to be your account manager and will always be available to you for future requirements and advice.
Arranging Network Services
Our first task is to order any telephone lines for you, acting on your behalf. This is done directly with us as a BT wholesale access provider, or with BT direct and/or any other networks that you have arrangements with. At some point over the next few days we receive an approximate date of installation from BT or your network provider., and keep you updated with progress.
Allocation of Resources
Based on the timescales of line installation, we then schedule the work and allocate an installation team. Any cabling work that we need to carry out for you prior to the installation (eg. CAT-5) is normally scheduled at this point.
The “Pre-Flight Check”
An engineering manager will visit you prior to the start of installation, to survey the site and discuss details of the installation process. This pre-installation survey ensures that the project runs smoothly without any surprises.
Keeping you Informed
We keep you updated during the entire pre-installation process, and during the interim while we wait for the line provisions.
